Azerbaijanis from Gaza return home

Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Ayxan Hajizada has said that eight Azerbaijanis left Gaza through the Rafah checkpoint on the Gaza Strip border with Egypt.

“Those people have already arrived in Azerbaijan,” Hajizada said in response to a request from Oxu.Az.

The Gaza Border Guard published a list containing the names of almost 600 people on November 2 who were able to leave Gaza through the Rafah checkpoint on the border with Egypt.

The file attached to the message contained the names and passport data of 596 foreigners and people with dual citizenship, including 400 US citizens.

The list also includes citizens of Belgium, Bahrain and the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Switzerland and South Korea.
