Azerbaijanis killed in Israel as result of Hamas attacks identified

The identities of the Azerbaijanis killed as a result of the Hamas attacks on Israel have been established.

Among the dead were Shamil Abbasov (Israeli citizen), Emin Akhundov (Israeli citizen), Roman Gandel (Israeli citizen) and Elkin Nazarov (dual citizenship), the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend.

To recap, on the morning of October 7, a combined attack was carried out on Israel. From the beginning, a massive shelling of rockets began from the territory of the Gaza Strip, followed by the penetration of militants by land, water and air.

As a result, the death toll exceeded 1,200 people, and about 2,700 were injured.
