Azercosmos' export revenues down 13%
In the first quarter of this year, the Space Agency (Azercosmos) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport exported satellite telecommunications and optical satellite services to 40 countries for $5.4 million.
According to Report, this is stated in the April issue of the "Export Review" presented by the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
According to the document, this is 4 more countries and $0.8 million (13.9 per cent) less than in the same period last year.
In January-March, export revenues of Azercosmos made up 80 per cent of total revenues, which is 6 percentage points less compared to the previous year.
Last month alone Azercosmos exported services to 39 countries worth $1.8 million. This is 9 countries and $0.3 million (14.3 per cent) more than a year ago.
The top five export leaders for 3 months were the UK with $1.2 million, Luxembourg with $1 million, France with $805.7 thousand, UAE with $466 thousand, and Germany with $252.2 thousand.
