Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, as part of his working visit to the country.
The meeting, announced by the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on exploring ways to further deepen bilateral ties between Baku and Abu Dhabi, per Caliber.Az.
The two ministers exchanged views on expanding cooperation across various sectors and discussed key developments on the regional and international stage.
The importance of further developing mutually beneficial areas of cooperation was highlighted.
The ministers discussed the broader regional situation, sharing their perspectives.
Minister Bayramov also provided his counterpart with an update on the post-conflict situation in the region, ongoing reconstruction efforts, demining operations, the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and ongoing challenges, including territorial claims in the Armenian Constitution.
Bayramov’s visit to the UAE, which began on April 7, highlights Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing dialogue and partnership with the Gulf nation.
