Baku, Amman strengthen cooperation on investment opportunities
Azerbaijan and Jordan are moving to deepen economic and investment cooperation, following a high-level meeting between senior officials from both countries.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Amman, Shahin Abdullayev, met with Jordan’s Minister of Investment, Tareq Abughazaleh, to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral economic engagement. The Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan shared details of the discussion on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az repoirts per local media.
“During the meeting, Azerbaijani-Jordanian relations were reviewed, with particular focus on investment cooperation opportunities and prospective projects,” the embassy statement said.
Minister Abughazaleh underscored the strategic importance of expanding investment partnerships between the two friendly nations. He highlighted Jordan’s competitive advantages, existing investment opportunities, and legislation designed to attract high-quality, value-added investments.
Ambassador Abdullayev, for his part, emphasized the robust ties between Azerbaijan and Jordan, reaffirming Baku’s commitment to enhancing collaboration with Amman. He stressed that expanding economic and investment links aligns with the shared interests of the two nations.
