Baku, Ankara boost strategic cooperation in military education PHOTO
Rector of Azerbaijan’s National Defence University, Major General Gunduz Abdulov, met with a delegation led by Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, Vice Rector of Türkiye’s National Defence University, to review ongoing cooperation and explore new opportunities for collaboration in military education and scientific research.
Abdulov briefed the delegation on reforms being carried out in the country’s military education system and their positive results. He also provided detailed information on innovations being introduced in line with international best practices, Caliber.Az reports per the ministry.
Aktaş emphasised that the Azerbaijani Army’s successful development path serves as an example for other countries and expressed confidence that cooperation between Baku and Ankara would continue to expand under the motto “One Nation, Two States.”
The meeting focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation in military education, issues related to enhancing the knowledge and professional skills of military personnel, training qualified specialists, and the importance of reciprocal visits for the exchange of experience.
The two sides also held an extensive exchange of views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
