Baku, Ankara discuss training personnel for defence industry PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Türkiye discussed the training of personnel for the defence industry, mechanisms for mutually beneficial cooperation in this area and the implementation of exchange programs for young specialists.

The talks took place as part of the official working visit of Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Defence Industry, Hidayat Azimov, to Türkiye, where he visited several universities and met with their leadership, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence Industry.

The leaders of the Turkish universities briefed Azimov on their research infrastructure, defence-industry-oriented facilities, and their experience in applying artificial intelligence technologies.

During the meetings, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation in these areas.
