Baku, Ankara hold talks on deepening cooperation in defence industry PHOTO
Azerbaijani and Turkish top defence industry officials have met in Türkiye's capital, Ankara, to discuss the current state and future development of defence industry cooperation, strengthening mutual knowledge exchange, and implementing new projects.
The delegation from Azerbaijan was led by Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev, and from Türkiye — National Defence Minister Yaşar Güler and Secretary of Türkiye's Defence Industries Haluk Görgün, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defence Industry.
The parties emphasised the importance of enhancing this cooperation for the security and defence sectors of both brotherly nations.
The sides also discussed the use and development of modern defence technologies and systems, scientific exchange, joint exercises, and strategic projects in the defence industry.
