Baku-Ankara relations advance through parliamentary, political dialogue
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, hosted Mustafa Destici, a member of Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly and chairman of the Grand Unity Party, in a high-level meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
The meeting was announced by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

During the discussions, both sides praised the steady development of fraternal, friendly, and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across multiple sectors. They underscored the pivotal role of inter-parliamentary contacts, as well as cooperation between political parties, in deepening the partnership between the two brotherly nations.
The dialogue also focused on regional security, the post-conflict situation in the South Caucasus, and ongoing reconstruction efforts in the recently liberated territories. Bayramov and Destici further highlighted the close collaboration between Azerbaijan and Türkiye within international organizations, including key priorities under the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
