Baku, Ashgabat strengthen partnership through diplomatic talks
The Azerbaijani and Turkmen ambassadors to Uzbekistan have discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation during a meeting in Tashkent.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Uzbekistan Rashad Mammadov and Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov held the protocol meeting to exchange views on the current state of relations and areas of partnership, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Mammadov shared details of the talks on his X account.
"During the meeting, we discussed the current state and prospects for the development of friendly and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, as well as exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest," Mammadov said.
The diplomats also highlighted the importance of maintaining close cooperation and enhancing coordination between the Azerbaijani and Turkmen diplomatic missions accredited in Uzbekistan.
