Baku business forum set to boost Azerbaijani-Pakistani economic ties
Azerbaijan and Pakistan will strengthen their economic ties with a business forum scheduled to take place in Baku on September 16.
On September 2, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farkhadov, met with Abdul Alim Khan, Pakistan's Federal Minister of Privatisation and member of the Pakistan Investment Board, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Their discussion focused on bilateral cooperation and the forthcoming forum, aimed at bolstering business activities between the two nations.
Khan highlighted that the forum is set to foster business development and investment opportunities in sectors such as food security, IT, healthcare, and agriculture. He also emphasized the potential for Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan to collaboratively advance regional development through mutual investment and cooperation.
The Pakistani delegation to the forum will be led by Abdul Alim Khan and Jam Kamal Khan, Pakistan's Federal Commerce Minister. Farhadov noted that Azerbaijan is keen to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan's liquefied natural gas, urea, and power sectors.
