Baku discusses preparations for COP29 with Tashkent PHOTO

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev has met with Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov.

Preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan in late 2024 were discussed at the meeting, and views on the issue were exchanged, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Ecology.

They also discussed prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the field of environmental protection.
