Baku hosting Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2023 event PHOTO
The Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2023 (CIDC-2023) event kicked off at the Baku Convention Centre in Azerbaijan on October 26.
The Azerbaijani State Service of Special Communication and Information Security and the State Security Service are the organisers of the event, Report informs.
Some 14 domestic and 27 foreign companies, five state agencies and eight startups are represented at CIDC-2023. More than 1,700 guests, including Head of the State Security Service Ali Naghiyev, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan (“ASAN Service”) Ulvi Mehdiyev are taking part in the event.
The “Cyber Warfare” contest, aimed at developing the ability to protect critical information systems from cyber-attacks and manage information systems in crisis situations will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time as part of the event.
