Baku hosts NATO-led training on modern tech, alliance standards for servicemen PHOTO
A course on “Communication, Information Systems and Cyber Operations” was held in Baku, focusing on teaching servicemen the use of modern technological solutions, methods, and tools, while familiarising them with NATO standards and procedures in these fields.
It was organised at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute within the framework of the 2026 Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and NATO, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.
The course was conducted by the Mobile Training Team of NATO Allied Land Command Headquarters in İzmir, Türkiye, to strengthen the theoretical and practical expertise of servicemen in communication, information systems, and cyber operations.
Throughout the training, NATO’s Mobile Training Team provided briefings on communication, information technologies, cybersecurity, and related topics, complemented by both theoretical and practical exercises.
Upon completion of the course, participants received certificates recognising their achievements.
