Baku hosts next round of Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia political consultations

Another round of political consultations between the Azerbaijani and Saudi Arabian foreign ministries was held in Baku on February 28.

On behalf of Azerbaijan, Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev led political consultations with his Saudi counterpart Waleed Bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the consultations, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, energy, and humanitarian spheres, inter-parliamentary ties and cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement.

Al-Khuraiji was informed of the post-conflict regional situation, including reconstruction and construction activities carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories.

The officials also discussed regional and global issues of common interest.
