Baku hosts Non-Aligned Movement contact group summit Live Broadcast
The summit of the contact group of the Non-Aligned Movement on combating COVID-19 is taking place in Baku on March 2.
The summit is attended by heads of state and government of about 70 countries, presidents of five countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, and Libya, vice-presidents of three countries - Cuba, Gabon, Tanzania, prime ministers of Algeria and Kenya, high-ranking representatives of various countries, as well as heads of international organisations - President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly Csaba Korosi, World Tourism Organisation Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili, International Organisation for Migration Director-General Antonio Vitorino, Director-General of the UN Office in Geneva Tatiana Valovaya, Economic Cooperation Organisation Seceratry-General Khusrav Noziri, as well as ministers, deputy ministers, ambassadors, etc, Caliber.Az reports.
The participation of high-ranking representatives once again shows that Azerbaijan makes an important contribution to the organisation's activities. Azerbaijan is once again holding an important meeting at which global issues will be discussed, which is a manifestation of multilateralism and global solidarity.
