Baku, Islamabad discuss strengthening interparliamentary cooperation PHOTO

Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, held a meeting with Chairman of Pakistan's Senate, Syed Raza Gillani, as part of her working visit to Pakistan.

The meeting saw the parties expressing satisfaction with the successful development of relations between the two countries, based on the principles of friendship and brotherhood, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Parliament.

They noted that reciprocal visits by the leaders of the countries have played an important role in achieving a high level of bilateral relations.

Highlighting the special role of parliaments in developing these relations, the speakers highly appreciated the cooperation between legislative bodies both bilaterally and on various platforms.

During the discussion, the holding of the third trilateral meeting of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye was regarded as a contribution to further expanding relations, and opinions were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
