03 September 2025 14:41
Azerbaijan and Ukraine have pledged to deepen their strategic partnership following a meeting in Baku between Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov and Ukraine’s Ambassador Yuriy Husyev.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Husyev said the talks with Sharifov had been “productive” and included discussions on strengthening bilateral ties, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
The ambassador confirmed that a new consignment of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan – consisting of energy equipment – has already been delivered to Ukraine.
“We are grateful for this support,” Husyev noted, adding that the two sides had agreed on joint steps to reinforce their partnership further.
