Baku opens First General Assembly of Global South NGO Platform PHOTO

The First General Assembly of the Global South NGO Platform (GSNP) officially opened at the Gulustan Palace on May 14 as part of Baku Urban Week.

The event gathers representatives of non-governmental organisations from more than 110 countries across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific region, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

At the First General Assembly of GSNP, elections will be conducted to appoint the Secretary-General, who will head the organisation for the next five years, along with four deputy positions representing Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.
