Azerbaijan’s Deputy Energy Minister Kamal Abbasov has met with Bulgarian Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov in Baku on the margins of the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Bulgaria intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

The meeting focused on advancing energy relations and exploring new opportunities for collaboration, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy.

During the discussions, Abbasov and Malinov reviewed the current energy cooperation between the two countries and explored ways to further enhance it.

Key topics included the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector, as well as strategies for diversifying natural gas supply networks.
