Baku, Tashkent discuss deepening military-technical cooperation
On December 11, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan held talks on expanding cooperation in the defence industry, focusing on military-technical collaboration.
The discussions took place in Baku during a meeting between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry, Vugar Mustafayev, and a delegation led by Mansurjon Ibodullaev, Director of Uzbekistan’s Defence Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defence.
Mustafayev underscored the significant potential for further strengthening Azerbaijani-Uzbek cooperation in the defence industry, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence Industry.
For his part, Ibodullaev highlighted the role of such meetings in deepening relations built on mutual trust and friendship.
The sides discussed the development of military-technical cooperation, the use of cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions in defence production, the expansion of manufacturing capacities, enhanced personnel training, and the advancement of joint research and development projects.
