Alakbarov stressed that the Azerbaijani president places great importance on strengthening ties with Japan. He noted the extensive opportunities for cooperation across multiple fields and spoke about reconstruction and restoration efforts in regions recently liberated from occupation. He also invited Japanese companies to engage actively in these projects.

The meeting underscored the importance of humanitarian and cultural events aimed at deepening friendship between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Japan. It was highlighted that Azerbaijan’s National Day will be celebrated both in Tokyo and Osaka during the Expo.
