Baku, Yerevan commit to advancing peace agreement in Washington talks
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan has met in Washington on the initiative and with the participation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Summit on the 75th anniversary of NATO, marked a crucial step towards the finalization of a historic peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The sides acknowledged the progress made towards establishing peace and formalizing interstate relations. The ministers agreed to continue working diligently to finalize the agreement, which aims to bring lasting peace to a region long marred by conflict.
During the talks, FMs Bayramov and Mirzoyan expressed their gratitude to Secretary Blinken for his role in facilitating the dialogue.
