Beijing administration: China interested in developing ties with Azerbaijan PHOTO

A Chinese delegation led by Deputy Head of the Beijing People's Political Consultative Council Jan Chian Ming is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

She met with Baku mayor Eldar Azizov, who informed the Chinese guests about infrastructure projects, ongoing beautification and reconstruction work in Baku, noting special attention of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to Baku's development, according to Caliber.Az.

In turn, Jan Chian Ming noted that cooperation between Beijing and Baku is expanding. China is interested in intensifying ties with Azerbaijan, which are of particular importance to China.

The Chinese guests emphasised that Baku impressed them as a clean, well-groomed city with many trees.
