Belarus envoy upbeat about ties with Azerbaijan
Belarus and Azerbaijan maintain their level and pace of bilateral cooperation while intensifying cooperation in a number of areas.
According to Report referring to BELTA, the Belarusian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Andrei Ravkov, said in an interview with the daily public-political newspaper "Novoe Vremya".
"I consider this year difficult, but at the same time fruitful and promising for Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations. Its main result is to maintain the level and pace of bilateral cooperation while intensifying cooperation in a number of areas", the diplomat stressed.
In his opinion, the working visit of Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko to Azerbaijan in May 2022 was a significant contribution to bilateral cooperation.
"The talks [between Golovchenko] with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov took place in an atmosphere of sincerity, trust and friendship, opening a new milestone of mutually beneficial dialogue. The Heads of Government once again confirmed the level of strategic partnership between the two countries, stressing that the Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations can be an example of fruitful cooperation, as there are no problem topics in the current bilateral agenda", Ambassador Ravkov noted.
