Belarus hosts talks on Azerbaijan’s migration challenges, return to ancestral lands PHOTO
A round table was convened in Minsk, bringing together Belarusian public representatives to discuss critical issues surrounding migration and the repatriation of displaced populations from Western Azerbaijan.
Organized by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organisations, the event under the motto “Return, Migration, Stability: Azerbaijan’s Experience” opened with a captivating national dance performance set to traditional Azerbaijani music, “Uzundara,” which set a culturally rich tone for the proceedings, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Throughout the session, experts delivered detailed presentations and reports focusing on the historical context, ongoing challenges, and strategic initiatives related to the return of Azerbaijanis to their ancestral lands in Western Azerbaijan. The discussions underlined the importance of stability and sustainable migration policies in the region.
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where attendees actively engaged with speakers to deepen their understanding of the complex issues at hand.
