Belarus seeks to enhance relations with Azerbaijan PHOTO
Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev received a delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by Minister of Architecture and Construction Ruslan Parkhamovich.
Press service of the State Committee told Caliber.Az that welcoming the guests, Guliyev highlighted close cooperation and exchange of experience between institutions in the field of urban planning, architecture and construction, which have been established over the past years thanks to the "Memorandum of Intentions on intensification of cooperation between the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of Belarus and the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan".
Anar Guliyev also briefed the guests in detail about the results of reforms implemented by President Ilham Aliyev in the field of urban development, in particular about the large-scale construction works carried out in the territories liberated from occupation within the framework of the "I State Programme of Great Return to the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation".
In response, Parkhamovich expressed appreciation for the insights and shared details about Belarus's recent construction sector reforms and innovations, while exploring avenues to bolster bilateral relations across various domains.
Both sides actively discussed opportunities for further cooperation in urban planning, public administration, settlement design, and construction projects.
