Belarusian diplomat vows to enhance ties with Azerbaijan in key sectors
Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Dmitry Pinevich, held a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaleddin Heydarov, to discuss the ongoing and future collaboration between the two countries.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations told Caliber.Az that Heydarov warmly welcomed Pinevich and congratulated him on his new diplomatic mission.
He emphasized that Azerbaijani-Belarusian relations have witnessed rapid and comprehensive development in recent years, attributing this progress to the visionary leadership and mutual trust between the heads of state, as well as the long-standing principles of friendship and respect that characterize bilateral ties.
During the meeting, Heydarov provided a detailed overview of Azerbaijan’s efforts in emergency management and highlighted the strong cooperation with Belarusian institutions in this field. He underscored the importance of expanding collaboration to further enhance disaster response capabilities and exchange expertise.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Ambassador Pinevich reaffirmed Belarus’ commitment to deepening relations with Azerbaijan. "I will make every effort to further strengthen cooperation between our two countries," he stated.
The discussions also covered a range of mutual interests, with both sides expressing their intent to continue fostering close cooperation in various spheres.
