Belarusian PM wraps up productive visit to Azerbaijan, focusing on future cooperation
On May 6, Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin concluded his official visit to Azerbaijan, where he held meetings with Azerbaijani officials to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for future cooperation.
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov personally saw off the Belarusian government leader at the Fuzuli International Airport, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The sides exchanged cordial farewells following their successful meetings.
Earlier, Turchin was welcomed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku. The delegation then travelled to the Fuzuli district, where it was briefed on the significant damage caused by Armenian forces during nearly 30 years of occupation. The delegation was also updated on the extensive reconstruction and development projects Azerbaijan has initiated since the liberation of its lands.
Following the visit to Fuzuli, the Belarusian delegation headed to Gizil Kangarli village in the Aghdam district, where plans are underway for the construction of a major agricultural holding.
