Belarus prime minister arrives in Azerbaijan on official visit VIDEO/UPDATED
The head of the Belarusian government, Alexander Turchin, has arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit.
A guard of honour was lined up to welcome the distinguished guest at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were flying, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Alexander Turchin was met at the airport by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov, Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and other officials.

Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin has departed for an official visit to Azerbaijan.
During the visit, a meeting is scheduled between Alexander Turchin and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, as well as talks with Prime Minister Ali Asadov, both one-on-one and in an expanded format, Caliber.Az reports, citing Belarus media.
The head of the Belarusian government will also take part in the Belarus-Azerbaijan business forum, which is expected to result in the signing of several contracts. Alexander Turchin is also set to visit a number of sites in Baku, including a Belarusian food store from the "Belaruski" retail chain, a joint elevator assembly plant at Vertus Engineering Co. LLC, and a unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In addition, the Belarusian Prime Minister will lay wreaths at the grave of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the Victory Monument of November 8, as well as flowers at the grave of Zarifa Aliyeva.
Together with Ali Asadov, he plans to inspect both destroyed and restored sites in the city of Fuzuli, as well as visit the Aghdam Industrial Park, where a MAZ-5907S2-012 utility vehicle will be donated to the Service for Restoration, Construction, and Management in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts.
The prime ministers of Belarus and Azerbaijan also plan to tour the site of a future agrarian town near the village of Gizil Kangarli.
