BIG Energy: President Aliyev, Trump aim to boost oil sector in region
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's efforts to expand the country's energy sector and deepen cooperation with the United States were highlighted in an article published by Big Energy.
Journalist Javier Manjarres wrote that, like US President Donald Trump, Aliyev is focused on strengthening his country's energy potential, particularly in the oil and gas sector. The article said the Azerbaijani president aims to "Make Azerbaijan Great Again" and has partnered with the United States to expand the country's energy footprint in the region.
According to the article, President Aliyev outlined Azerbaijan's recent energy agreement with the United States, valued at more than $8 billion, during the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.
Republican Congressman Byron Donalds, who is running for governor of Florida, welcomed the growing energy cooperation between Baku and Washington.
"This is what it looks like when America is respected on the world stage after four brutal years under Biden. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, we’re forging new partnerships to supercharge our energy dominance and strengthen American industry," stated Rep. Donalds in a statement to Big Energy News.
