British Lord hails stable relations with Azerbaijan amid shifting global geopolitics

The Deputy Speaker of the British House of Lords Dennis Rogan has expressed his belief that relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom remain stable and strong against the backdrop of geopolitical events unfolding around the world, particularly in America and other regions.

Lord Dennis Rogan emphasized that he hoped it would continue to remain this way, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

He said that he had visited Azerbaijan on various occasions, as a businessman and a member of the parliamentary delegation, describing Azerbaijan and its people as extremely interesting, informative, hospitable, and hoping to return to the country at some stage.

Assessing the relationship between the UK and Azerbaijan, Lord Rogan stated that ties with Baku are at a very good level.

Speaking about areas where cooperation between the two countries could expand, Lord Rogan emphasized the importance of exchange programs, particularly among young people.

“I believe student exchange programs between Azerbaijan and the UK are very important. Visits by Azerbaijani youth to the UK and British students to Azerbaijan could make a positive contribution to the development of relations. The connections formed in youth can be beneficial to both countries in the future,” the Lord said.
