Bulgarian embassy staff evacuated from Tehran via Azerbaijan PHOTO

Representatives of the Bulgarian Embassy in Tehran have been safely evacuated to Azerbaijan amid security concerns.

More than 10 staff members of the Bulgarian diplomatic mission were evacuated through the Astara border crossing, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Authorities at the checkpoint implemented all necessary measures to ensure the safe passage of the diplomats.

After completing registration procedures, the embassy staff were securely transported to their designated destinations, with no reported incidents during the operation.
