Bulgarian government, media strongly condemn terrorist attack on Azerbaijani embassy PHOTO
The terrorist attack from January 27 conducted on the Azerbaijani embassy in the Islamic Republic of Iran has been strongly condemned by the president of Bulgaria and its ministry of foreign affairs.
As Azertag reports, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Bulgaria informed, that President Rumen Radev responded to the incident, saying "Bulgaria condemns the fatal attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran. Such attacks are unacceptable and cause for serious concern. We support the call by President Ilham Aliyev for an elaborate investigation of the incident and express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased".
The Bulgarian ministry of foreign affairs harshly criticized the attack in a post on their official Twitter account on January 28, which read "Utterly unacceptable – strong condemnation of the attack against the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Teheran. Sincere condolences to Azerbaijan. While wishing for the swift recovery of everyone affected, we remind that obligations under relevant conventions must be upheld!"
