Joint tactical exercises involving special forces from Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia, dubbed Caucasian Eagle-2025, have been successfully conducted in Ankara.

The annual drills, held as part of a pre-approved cooperation plan, aim to strengthen collaboration between the three allied nations and enhance regional security, Caliber.Az reports citing the Defence Ministry.

During a high-level observers’ day, Azerbaijani Special Forces Commander and National Hero of the Patriotic War, Major General Alekber Jahangirov, along with senior officers from Türkiye and Georgia, reviewed the exercises on site.

Detailed briefings were presented on each stage of the drills, the objectives set, and the results achieved.

The exercises showcased the troops’ tactical agility and high level of preparedness, including coordinated operations with rocket, artillery and aviation units.
