Caucasus Muslims Office: Attack on Azerbaijani embassy in London - disrespect to people
Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has said that a group of people calling themselves religious people committed an act of vandalism against the Azerbaijani embassy in London.
“This is disrespectful to our people,” Pashazade told journalists, Report informs.
“Desecrating the Azerbaijani flag is tantamount to insulting people. Representatives of religious confessions, who are with me today at the blood donation action, phoned me at night and expressed their concern about the incident. The Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs stated that it supports the Azerbaijani people. I have also spoken to religious leaders in Turkic-speaking countries. During phone talks, they also supported us. We sent applications to the embassies. I believe that the perpetrators will be punished,” the chairman said.
