Caucasus Muslims Office chair offers condolences for civilian losses in Iran PHOTO
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, met with Iran’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, to express condolences for the recent civilian casualties in Iran.
Allahshukur Pashazade also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Office.

The Sheikhulislam reiterated President Ilham Aliyev’s consistent position that Azerbaijan will not allow its territory to be used for actions against neighboring countries, including Iran. He highlighted that the strong personal relations between Aliyev and Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian contribute to the sustainable development of Azerbaijan-Iran ties and the maintenance of peace and stability in the region.
Ambassador Demirchilou expressed gratitude for the condolences and moral support offered by the Azerbaijani state and people, as well as for the humanitarian aid provided. He also thanked President Aliyev for his firm stance promoting regional peace and stability.
