Caucasus Muslims Office chairman to meet officials in Georgia

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade is on an official visit to Georgia.

The delegation headed by Sheikhulislam, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, embassy staff and representatives of the Georgian Patriarchate viewed the bust of the Azerbaijani great leader in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Tbilisi and revered his memory by laying a wreath, Report informs.

During the visit, Pashazade will meet Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

Sheikhulislam is expected to meet Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Chairman of the Georgian parliament Shalva Papuashvili.

Pashazade will also visit Tbilisi Jumah Mosque and meet representatives of the Azerbaijani community in Georgia.

The visit will end on July 23.
