Chief of General Staff of Azerbaijani Army commences working visit to Belarus

Colonel General Karim Valiyev, the First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, has embarked on a high-level working visit to Belarus.

The visit is being conducted at the invitation of Major General Pavel Muraveiko, First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.

The visit aims to further strengthen bilateral military relations and explore avenues for enhanced collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

As part of the agenda, Colonel General Valiyev is scheduled to hold a formal meeting with Major General Muraveiko. The discussions are expected to focus on regional security issues, defence cooperation, and potential joint initiatives between the two armed forces.
