China is prepared to share its advancements in scientific and technological innovation with the international community, including Azerbaijan, particularly in areas such as digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge technologies.
This was stated by Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Lu Mei, during her visit to the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The diplomat underscored that, alongside technological collaboration, the development of transport and connectivity initiatives remains of paramount importance.
“We are ready, together with Azerbaijan, to advance the deepening of our partnership within the framework of the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative and elevate it to a new stage of high-quality development,” Lu Mei emphasized.
She noted that Azerbaijan was among the first countries to support the initiative, highlighting Baku’s pivotal role in establishing transport and logistics corridors connecting East and West.
“The development of infrastructure links is the cornerstone of the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative. We will continue working with our partners to strengthen connections through the China–Europe Railway Express, while also opening new logistics routes across the Eurasian continent and the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Our goal is to create a multidimensional network of cooperation across the region,” the ambassador added.
Lu Mei further stated that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Azerbaijan holds a bright and promising future.
“China is ready to collaborate with Azerbaijan to fully implement the significant agreements reached by the leaders of our states,” she concluded.
