CICA secretary general, Azerbaijani top official eye summit preparations

The Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kairat Sarybay, has met with Azerbaijani presiential aide Hikmet Hajiyev to discuss Azerbaijan’s role in the organisation and preparations for upcoming events.

Sarybay said on X that during the talks, he highlighted Azerbaijan’s leadership within CICA, including progress on the organisation’s ongoing transformation process, Caliber.Az reports.

He also noted that discussions covered preparations for the upcoming CICA Summit as well as the CICA Media Forum.
