CIS unveils integrated "Password" radar identification system, joint air defence network
A unified radar identification system, "Password," has been established within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), alongside joint air defence systems.
Russian Defence Minister, Andrei Belousov, revealed this development at a meeting of the CIS Defence Ministers Council, Caliber. Az reports per Russian media.
Minister Belousov highlighted that years of military cooperation had played a crucial role in enhancing the armed forces of the CIS member states.
"We have created integrated military systems for air defence, communications, radiation, chemical, and biological monitoring, and the "Password" radar identification system, among others," he stated.
Belousov drew attention to the ongoing exchange of experiences, particularly those gained during the special military operation.
He stressed that in light of the new geopolitical landscape, CIS must focus its cooperation with friendly nations on building an equal and indivisible Eurasian security framework.
The minister also noted that the West, in its bid to maintain hegemonic dominance, is attempting to destabilise regional security.
This, he explained, is the reason why the expanded BRICS summit in Kazan placed particular emphasis on peaceful conflict resolution and the establishment of a fair, multipolar world order.
