Nearly 1,800 people evacuated from Iran through Azerbaijan border updated

A total of 1,797 people have been evacuated from Iran through the border with Azerbaijan since military operations launched by the United States and Israel began on February 28.

According to domestic media, the evacuees include citizens from 66 different countries.

Between 08:00 on February 28 and 14:00 on March 7, a total of 297 Azerbaijani citizens crossed the border from Iran into Azerbaijan as part of the evacuation flow.

Due to the military operations launched by the United States and Israel on February 28, a total of 1,761 people were evacuated from Iran via the Azerbaijani border.

According to Report, the evacuees are citizens of 66 countries. From 08:00 on 28 February to 10:00 on 7 March, 297 Azerbaijani citizens crossed the border.
