Constitutional Court approves results of presidential election in Azerbaijan
The Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan has approved the results of the presidential election held on February 7, 2024.
Following the meeting, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev announced the decision of the plenum, Report informs.
Under the decision, the Constitutional Court approved the results of the presidential election.
According to the final protocol of the Central Election Commission, Ilham Aliyev won the presidential election with 92.12 per cent of votes.
Azerbaijan held snap presidential election on February 7, 2024.
The Central Electoral Commission, in charge of holding elections across the country, registered seven presidential candidates.
A total of 90,272 observers monitored the February 7 snap presidential elections.
