COP 29 in Baku to open new horizons for Azerbaijan-Europe cooperation Former EU Commissioner says

Former European Union Commissioner for Energy Andris Piebalgs has told Report that holding COP29 in Baku will create new opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Europe.

He noted that after Azerbaijan, the COP host country will be Brazil: "I believe that during this period official Baku will achieve new prospects in relations with Europe".

The former EU Commissioner also praised Azerbaijan's important role in Europe's energy security.
