A Croatian delegation visiting Azerbaijan has held talks focused on expanding military education cooperation, including training programs, professional exchanges, and potential future collaboration between the two countries, according to Azerbaijan’s National Defence University (NDU).

The delegation included Colonel Goran Huljev, Dean of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Croatian Defence Academy, and Irina Prifi Durić, Director of the Katarina Zrinska Foreign Language Centre, among other officials, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry

During the visit, the group toured the Institute of Military Management and the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, both part of the NDU. Officials presented detailed briefings on the institutions’ history, academic programmes, and material and technical resources, along with guided tours of their educational facilities.

Discussions between the two sides focused on expanding cooperation in military education, enhancing the training of personnel, and exchanging professional expertise. Both delegations also presented overviews of their respective military education systems and modern training approaches, while addressing questions of mutual interest.
