Cypriot president seeks to enhance relations with Azerbaijan in digital age
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is poised to strengthen its ties with Azerbaijan by embracing the opportunities presented by communication technologies, according to TRNC President Ersin Tatar.
In an exclusive interview with Report on the sidelines of the III Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, President Tatar emphasized the importance of expanding and fortifying relations in various domains, Caliber.Az reports.
President Tatar expressed his satisfaction with Türkiye's steadfast unity with Azerbaijan, especially noting Azerbaijan's strengthened position following the victory in Karabakh.
He highlighted the significance of President Ilham Aliyev's continuous emphasis on the Turkic world, underscoring the need to broaden ties between Turkic states across all sectors. Tatar stated that such collaboration signals a collective commitment to future strength, emphasizing that Turkic nations, with their shared values, are integral parts of one united family.
Anticipating the future trajectory of these relations, President Tatar disclosed his plans to visit Azerbaijan and participate in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) scheduled for July in Shusha.
The OTS summit presents a valuable platform for Turkic nations to convene, fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation among member states.
