"Dominican Republic, Jordan and Azerbaijan have their new Ambassadors to the Czech Republic. Today, I received their letters of credence. Welcome,” the post by the president reads.
Yashar Aliyev, who previously served as Azerbaijan’s permanent representative to the United Nations (UN), was appointed to his new role in Prague by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The appointment followed a decree signed on December 20, 2024, recalling Aliyev from the UN post and designating him as ambassador to the Czech Republic.
