Defence medicine in focus as Azerbaijan welcomes Georgian delegation PHOTO

Baku has hosted a meeting between representatives of the medical services of the Azerbaijani and Georgian Defence Ministries, focusing on bilateral cooperation in the field of military medicine.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence told Caliber.Az that the meeting featured a detailed presentation for the Georgian delegation on the structure and functioning of medical services within the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, including the system of military medical support.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on prospects for cooperation in military medicine and exchanged views on a range of other issues of mutual interest.

As part of the visit, the Georgian representatives toured several key military medical facilities, including the Main Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defence, the Central Military and Dental Polyclinics, the Military Medical Faculty, the Centre for Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy, and the Defence Ministry’s recreation house.
