Defence Minister Hasanov hails Azerbaijani Army’s role in post-war reconstruction

Azerbaijan’s Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, extended his congratulations to the personnel of the Azerbaijani Army on the fifth anniversary of Victory in the Patriotic War.

According to Caliber.Az, in his congratulatory message, Hasanov recalled that under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Azerbaijani Army achieved a brilliant victory in the Patriotic War. He noted that thanks to the successful combat operations and anti-terrorist measures, the Azerbaijani territories were liberated from enemy occupation.

“Today, the valiant Azerbaijani Army, while consolidating its positions in the liberated territories, makes a worthy contribution to the restoration and construction efforts in these lands and to the ‘Great Return’ program. I am confident that you will remain loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, your military oath, and military regulations, and continue to strengthen your combat and moral-psychological readiness to achieve new successes in service,” Hasanov emphasised.
